Robert Louis Brandon Edwards
Robert Louis Brandon Edwards (b. 1988) is an artist, preservationist, and doctoral candidate in preservation at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at Columbia University. Robert received a Bachelor of architectural studies with a focus in preservation from the State University of New York and a Master of architectural history with a Certificate in preservation from the University of Virginia.
Edwards’ practice focuses on expanding the pedagogical and practical methods in preservation and the archival material significant to the Black experience. His research focuses on Black mobility during the Great Migration.
